Gen X just wants to go about their business and be left alone. We also don't give a crap about what people do in privacy. But dems had to put all their nonsense in our face, call us and half the country garbage, kept poking the bear, and pissed us all off. You don't continually antagonize us gen-xers like that without consequences. We weren't going to stand around and take their shit anymore.
Dems pissed off the most political apathetic generation ever to the point we got out in droves to vote. That says something and is quite the accomplishment. Even MTV couldn't get us to "rock the vote."
