In my opinion, he’s never sounded better. Reminds me of the old Cream days.
Towards the end of the video we combines both half stacks. I think it sounds pretty damn amazing. I’m considering that head actually.

You would need a few Titanics to fit all the players who come to Marshall after years of I want a “Marshall” type amp that does X.

Marshall is iconic for good reason. Now I am gassing for one of those.

Is the interviewer tiny, or if the guitarist huge?????

I am so glad he swapped - those Blackstars sounded so flat to me in the 'sweet spot'. He is a monster of a player and guy.

This dude seems like a legit, good dude. He started that podcast/youtube show with the Music Is Win dude and he makes it entertaining enough that I don’t think I’ve missed a show even when I haven’t been a fan of who was on it.

I totally get the sentiment of “I plugged into a Marshall and there it was”, pretty badass how those circuits can sound entirely different among a fuckton of guitar players through the decades.

If you want a rig with no clean channel that really sounds like the pedal you use to boost it, Marshall is there for you :D

"No clean channel" ROFL i'm sure line 6 makes an excellent clean channel on their entry level combos

Wouldn't know. But Bogner makes a good clean channel on amps that also have crunch and lead. Sol do Soldano and Synergy. So explain why I'd want to sound like a diode gain box?

They are non-overlapping magisteria. You're comparing apples and oranges and saying one is inferior for being citrus, which is stupid as fuck.

I have learned that once you get used to two amps blended it's very difficult to go back to a single amp. Even two of the same, or similar amps that are EQ'd differently...or with just a touch of modulation on one (with the other dry) can sound pretty incredible. Those of us who have tried this understand. I am in the process of building this set-up with two different Marshall heads I acquired this year myself.

Have you tried a Jubilee, or vintage modern from Marshall?

That whole video is full of classic battered Marshall player stuff though:

- See it's so nice, they have a master volume! (what is this, 1976?)
- It sounded woofy, so I had to add another amp.
- I'm going to roll my guitar volume back 20dB just to try to find a clean tone. Never mind the huge stage volume drop.
- Here, let me step on this box...
