Wow...all I can say is wow.
I've seen many, many bands perform live (500-600) and AIC absolutely was one of, if not THE BEST I've seen/heard. Jerry's tone was UNBELIEVABLE!!!
I heard he was rocking the 20th XTC and Uber's, and Shiva but who knows for sure, right? It could have been the friedman rig that was posted earlier this summer. Whatever it was, I've never heard such a perfect live rock guitar tone. It was thick and present, but with none of the usual live harshness. Watching him play after all these years was surreal and mesmerizing!
For some reason I kept telling my buddies before the show that I wanted to hear Rain When I Die, and they opened with it!
Duvall fronted the band well and his pitch was ON. Great harmonizing and great frontman.
