Why in the world did she need OHS?

She was born with a number of heart defects and had surgery when she was 6, and again last year...had a vsd (hole in her heart), pulmonary stinosis, and transposition of the arteries. She had a conduit put in that replaced her pulmonary artery when she was 6 and it needed to be replaced when she was 12, and she ended up with 2 holes, each the size of your pinky between her left and right ventricles that had to be repaired.

Actually I screwed up, that picture is after she came out....which is why I am so upbeat!!

Worst part is, she is my stepdaughter, so we arent related by blood....and 2 years ago I ended up in for open heart also, had a 95% blockage in my coronary artery (passed on from my wonderful family genes) so to say my wife had been through some sheet....
