Lisa (aka NowYou'rePlayingWithPower) evidently has passed away :(

I never had much personal interaction with her, but I thoroughly enjoyed her humor and how she rustled up some of you guys. She was one of the few with a similar musical background to me around here. This is sad to hear, and quite surprising since she was recently active. I noticed she was banned recently but never saw what happened. RIP Lisa.

Like a lot of you it seems ..... I also considered her a online friend ..... she never mentioned hearing loss to me .... she mentioned family ... music ... gear .... gear and more gear ... she bought several of my pedals ..... she even sent me a huge box of electronic parts that I use all the time ...
she told me her Grandfather had owned a Music Store of sorts .... and she inherited it when he passed .

I loved her playing and musical style ..... her keyboard work was pretty incredible .... let alone the guitar playing

We even collaborated on a pedal design ..... she sent me a bunch of her artwork and told me to go nuts ....

so the Luv U Tron 3000 was born ........ an awesome Mutron III clone ..... I actually put one of her artwork pieces on the bottom of the pedal and gave her a extra plain bottom so she could display the artwork ...

She didn't. He needs attention. As if you we didn't know that already. One of the first things he did when he got here was attack her. He either feels really guilty or it's just another of his many attempts to get people to pay attention to him.

Sister Lisa was probably one of the smartest people on the forum or in general and way smarter than your average whoever...... She watched out for me, was a good person and was someone who had character, loyalty, respect and honor....



Which is more than I can say for most people nowadays unfortunately :dunno:

I considered Lisa an online friend, enjoyed her contributions to this forum, thought she was an excellent musician, and even won a guitar from one of her contests. I'll keep her and her family in my mind every time I pay it.

A little tidbit for people who may have won something from her. When adjusting the springs on the guitar I got from her I found a script L with a heart around it. When I asked her about it she said it was something the learned from her grandpa (I believe). She said she marked a bunch of her gear like that. So if you have something from her check in a cavity or the inside of a plate and you may find a little reminder of her.

I was going to ask if someone ever won the guitar and received it? That was so cool of her and I thought had a interesting way of doing a giveaway. RIP
 
She and I clashed at times, but after I had my stroke, we got along fine.

Eternal rest grant unto Lisa, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace through the mercy of God.
Amen.

Yeah. I wish this could just stay about her and not anyone's dillusions, and in that, I bow out, because this thread is soured. But if Lisa did die, she knew how I felt about her, and how all of us did. RIP

She watched out for me when I was being a dumbass.......



And unfortunately that was a tough job because I'm a fucking dumbass a lot of the fucking time :ROFLMAO:





She held her values and morals higher than anything and she was one of the few wolves in a league filled with sheep.....



The last thing I talked to Sister Lisa about was my Baseball projections and how I was on the verge of beating the "experts" in the industry again....... and ultimately did again...... And she was pretty impressed.....


And she gave me a sense of accomplishment by recognizing my feats....


And aside from that how concerned I was that the Phillies may have won the World Series as that historically leads to a recession for whatever reason.......... And I feel I can safely say that now after the seasons ended a good and well time ago having shared that with her......



Who gives a fuck right........ and what a fucking dumbass I am to have that be the last things I say to her and who gives a fuck :dunno:




IMO the most important thing to Sister Lisa aside from friends and family or her values and morals was character, loyalty, respect and honor....


And maybe I'm wrong but IMO that's what she was about.....





I'm glad to have had Sister Lisa in my life.......

To be fair to Chugg here, I’m not sure I believe it either. It’s a shame, I feel she was a good presence here generally and is missed.
