yeeeahhh \m/ this beast is right there with it tho brother im tellin you. it does that meshugggah thing. i havent played a natas but id put this right there on the same level. its too bad the fortin natas costs $5000 tho lol. i got my 2009 fryette for like $2500 had it retubed recapped and modded... trace had it for like 6 months. overall i spent close to $4000 if you count shipping it to voodoo. i think if you played it youd find it more than meets the same bar. damn i still want a natas though. i wont settle for the immitation

ill have to check out the tunes another time.. im on a boat..er.. aircraft carrier

hell i might have one one day myself.

i already posted the link to my reverbnation page like a lot of posts ago reverbnation.com/demonicusa unholy gates. but it was recorded with 1 SM57 going into aline6 UX1 into a cheap laptop dry signal recorded in riffworks lol. and the amp wasnt cranked. sm57 didnt capture it well.. needs like multipul positons and probably more than 1 kind of mic to capture how it actually sounds. so.... but yeah.

and as a matter of fact... i have a bugera 333xl at my drummers house lol

I think any of Henric Hermansson's creations would hold up in death metal and/or lower turnings. His stuff sounds tight and mean.

The Verellen Skyhammer and Driftwood Purple Nightmare sound crazy aggressive too.

Yes all of these sound good. I want to hear those PA amps with an 808 in front.

The OP's modded UL clip sounds good. Has the VHT sig sound and maybe even a bit more saggy for that awesome bark.

What do you want to hear? I have one of his modded Laney PA's and I have a BBE Green Screamer to boost it with. I can record a clip. Just let me know if there is a specific riff, what tuning and a single track or double tracked in a mix.

Low OD, Low tone, High volume.

Anyway yeah whatever you want to play. A few open power chords, a few chugalugas. Maybe some tremolo picking.

Cool thing. Yeah I couldnt do 20. Got out as a PC1. No longer any Postal Clerks left. All LS now.
Had to leave before I got totally bitter.

fuckin bad ass shit man.. i wish i had an engl man i bet id like it. id want a simpler one though.. like maybe mod a fireball 100 or a powerball1 or 2. do you find the EL34 amps to be more brutal than 6L6 and shit like that? ive only owned EL34 amps.. i dont really know what difference it makes honestly. some people ive talked to say that like 6L6 or KT88s are tighter or fatter or whatever and ive heard KT77s are the way to go in place of EL34s. So ive considered having mine rebiased for kt77s.. but the mod was done leaving it as an EL34 amp and idk if it really makes a difference or how different it sounds compared to a Kt88 ultralead but the way it is it flat out rules and i wouldnt change anything. EL34s are bad ass

maybe i could find a deal on an old invader 1 sometime or a savage. some of these amps are just so expensive that if i could get one id probably just get another pittbull

Reznor's known to use the FF on a lot of his tracks, but I've heard it raw, and honestly, it's just a funny amp - I mean, don't get me wrong - things insane (more so in its technicality and development) and sounds pretty brash, but if I had to get down to it - it's a novelty amp. I think there are far better amps out there that deliver brootz over the FF.

But from an engineering standpoint, the FF is totally on its own playing field. A playing field on a different planet perhaps.
