Carl is very much into the Hendrix and Trower stuff and that stuff has pedals all over it. I don't think he ever plays straight into an amp, he prefers a 100 watt head with pedals. I'd like to hear him play something without effects because I don't care for pedals much.

My criticism of Carl's playing has been his timing and the fact that he's not very versatile in his style, although that might be his choice.

Carls problem( among MANY) is that he thinks his opinions and preferences are fact and take precedence and thats just stupid.. the guy will put down anyone that plays alot of fast alternate picked stuff or tapping, sweeps arpeggios etc yet he cant do it to save his life. He couldnt be any more transparent; anything beyond his tastes and likes is crap and we both know thats a pretty stupid stance....

He never had any game to be honest, pummeling him in a flame war is childs play. He gets his ass handed to him and then he breaks out the racial slurs and crap about family and Lies and then lies some more, it couldnt be more obvious. Thats grade school stuff and thats all Ive seen from him in 7-8 years. The guy is as feeble mentally as he is physically...
