I saw Tool live in 2001 and apart from a few songs, I was bored out of my freaking mind. He played what I guess was a solo which consisted of 1 riff played slow and repeated it for what seemed like 10 minutes. And Maynard had his back to the crowd for most of the show. Just thought I'd air that out.

That "solo" was the transition riff from the song Reflection to the song Triad. And it served as the intermission so the rest of the band could go have a few shots backstage.

Wow this thread brought back some good memories of seeing Tool on the Aenima tour in early 1997 and Adam had the classic Marshall/Boogie/Deizel combo at the time and I just remember how blown away by his sound I was. Good times!
