How is that guy even still walking around?
Even able to walk? It blows my mind no one has found him and gotten their "money back", or turned him in.
How is he making money? Surviving?
We can solve cold case murders using 40 year old DNA, but can't find where mark resides or works... It's mind numbing.
I am absolutely in no way trying to stir up a can of bad memories, but damn would I love to partake in getting retribution for what he did....

he can be found, someone a few years ago here said he went to get his amp at whatever storage unit mark was at and it was marshalls floor to ceiling. theres people here still in contact with him. Something should have been done a long time ago, what you do now i dont even know

A few thoughts on this. As much as Mark is a talented modder/designer, his fatal flaw is that he's not a businessman and has showed a bad track record of managing projects and business-related activities. This is not a dig on him. This is very common in the industry, and you have pedal makers, amp builders etc.. springing up all of the time and dont stay in business because they don't have business skill. Look and Dave Friedmand and Bogner. They have people that manage the business side for them, and they enjoy the longevity in an otherwise competitive market. I think there is a possibility Mark never returning peoples amps perhaps had more to do with him not having his shit together than starting with the intention of ripping people off. That's where the line gets muddy between civil and criminal.
Based on my observations, he has not yet demonstrated any level of trust to operate either alone or the with the people he surrounds himself with. While they may be well intentioned, they don't have the business or financial backing for any level of success. Furthermore, we've seen when partnered with business savvy individuals with financial backing ala Brad King/Friedman collaboration, not only did he hold back on using his actual designs, he didn't follow through on the second product, Old Bitch, and there was a level of generic fill in the blanks with the circuit design.
I am afraid unfortunately that he's burnt too many bridges. Anyone that sends him a deposit while he's working on his own or with his handlers, it a gamble and I think one should be prepared to lose money. I don't know who's going to back him to build complete amps and sell them upon completion, but I just don't see sane people sending deposits as long as it's just him and his inner circle. The only chance I could see of success would be to do something with BAD where he's taken completely out of the business and operational channels and simply gets a cut, but I don't see that as viable option based on the history of associated drama.
That said, I would love to see him put out a product that the masses could enjoy and he enjoy some level of success in the process.

Everyone comes up with their own way to describe sound. What I consistently hear in every Cameron amp clip is an almost exaggerated 'slippery' compression on single note stuff and very forgiving 'squish' to the low-end muted rhythm stuff. In my head, this is what I hear when people describe an amp as 'easy' or 'fun' to play. Whatever he is doing to the circuit to achieve this quality cannot be a secret. It seems like if a reliable amp manufacturer offered a specific model or channel that consistently delivered this sound, it would be really hard to keep the Cameron legend on life-support.

Sadly, there will still be sychophants who will throw their money at him just for a chance to say they own one. It doesn't matter to them all the people Mark has screwed (and probably still will) screw over. As long as they get what they want, as long as they get their rare shiny new toy, they don't care.

I sold my modded one before all the craziness went down. There is one for sale in RI on marketplace - I think Brad era - guy is looking for $12k.
Not worth it, and not cool to the guys who got screwed over.
Shame Mark is such a flake/piece of human garbage, as the amps have a great feel to them. I think you can get in the ballpark with a Bogner or a Cornford.

I just got off the phone with him. His credit card machine was having issues so I stuffed the cash in an envelope and just sent it. Life is too short fo not have good tone.

As someone who has been on this forum since week one and talked over the phone with a Mark about sending an amp for modding.... it is a damn shame that he can't get his act together. He has a good ear, and I like the way his amps sound. But I would NEVER send him a dime. Every time I think we have collectively moved on from the Cameron saga, somebody decides to make a post.

I had everything he made modified and produced. I'd have close to 100k at current prices for his stuff. Sold them all over time, young kids ar the time. After they had all sold I sent a sleeper amp talked directly with him about it.....Jason told me many times he was staring at my amp. No communication with Mark since. Maybe it shows up at my funeral!
