Can I ask something? Why is everyone up in arms about the price of this amp, when buying a old one is cool, with the realization of an eventual service?

I’m not understanding either, isn’t $3699 or more what Friedman, Bogner, Soldano or any other US brand are charging for their flagship amp these days?

It’s waaaaaaay better than the OG Rev G I had. Granted, I never played the “good” revs. What a tubby pos that thing was.

I think some of it is just shock at what new amps are costing these days. This one is tough because many of us are remembering these going for $800 originally.

Around 2020 all the amps we talk about were 2500-3K. Friedman, SLO....new MW Rectos were 2600? Now, after Covidflation everything is what, 30% or more higher? These and the C+s are right in line with that. All of Friedman 100w are 3600 or more....no one seems to be bitching about those.
Prices are right in line with every other new flagship high gainer.

Wondering the same. I was alsways looking out for a Triple and looked at the RIs as an option.

Exactly. And the fact you can find used one for $1.5K all day long (at least where I live) doesn't help. I clearly remember new rectos were much less expensive than high-end exotic boutique amps. Now they're priced up there.

I heard the blacked out version is limited and a chrome chassis version will be available later this year as a production model.

Pretty sure it’s black chassis/chrome faceplate that will be the standard version. Was told $3199
