I take it used Rectifiers don’t sell for 900-1300 anymore? What do used rectifiers sell for now?

2 channel G’s..high teens to 2K, sometimes just over 2K. It’s stupid, but it’s what I see.
Yep. 2 ch Triples are over 2K. Lets face it......everything is up 40% vs 5 yrs ago. 2203s vert input are 2500, vs 1500 or less 5 yrs ago. You might find a 3 ch non MW version for cheaper but they also don't sound very good to me.

My guitar-Decimator-OD1X-SD1-amp. OD1X, all at noon. SD1, all at 10-11am. Gain on amp dimed.
Did you try SD1>OD1X>Decimator?
I'd dial in a sound with the OD1X and the Amp, that's a (little) too fat and then clean boost it with the SD1 to tighten it up.
I'd love to try that out now. Damn. Not sure if i like the digital pedal though...
Can you make clips? ;)

What is the appeal? It’s identical to the Dual Rec’s in every way except the power amp having more tubes/headroom? Is there anything different besides that?

Triples have as you said, more headroom, so they have better clarity, more punch and tightness, and a bit more extended lows and highs. Duals are a bit looser and juicier. Besides that the core tone is basically the same.

So I got my Triple Rec RI and I must admit, I really like the amp. I did compare it to my Dual RevE. While the agressivness and where the mids sit are quite the same, the biggest difference is in the response and bottom end.

The RevE (which by itself is a tight Recto) has a certain "woolyness" in the low freequncies, like every Recto. The RI has them as well, but to a much lesser extend. Instead, the bottom end is expanded. It`s like some of these wooly frequncies are pushed further down in the sonic spectrum.

This makes the amp feel and track faster. I immediately start to relax my wrist when palmmuting, something that happens when the amp pushes fast.

While still not as fast as my old 100W Marshalls, the RI Triple gained some of the percussive low end compared to the RevE. That probably makes sense, as those old Marshalls are rather rated at 130-140W than 100W.

Again, I really enjoy the amp as it fits my playing style. I just catch myself instictively gravitating to it.

I don't remember my Triple Rev G having the same feel and response. If it responded like the 90's Triple I would have kept it. And I sent it to Mesa for service. The new Triple seems to get better the more I turn it up. I asked my wife how it sounded the first night I tried it. She said "Loud!" 😂

I can this weekend, I'm off. I only have iPhone clips though...send me your email in case they are too big to post here.

I had a look at the stock images and it looks like the new rectos are loaded with STR445 6L6 which I believe are JJ, and I think their 12ax7 is also JJ these days. Is everyone happy with those pre and power tubes? Or are you guys who have bought the new recto reissues changing the tubes?

I can confirm that. The STR445 are JJs and the PI tube I pulled was a JJ as well. I`m acutally happy with them for now.
I could try the Chinese Shuguang that came with Rectos in the 90ies at one point but for now, I`m fine.

I’m honestly so happy with how my Dual RI now sounds that I haven’t felt compelled to roll tubes.
I’m curious how it’ll be with EL34’s and my Chinese pres, so I will be eventually.
