I'd prefer a miked clip if you don't mind.
Sorry. No go. Last 12 years of gigging we used a sound guy who provided all lights, mics/PA gear and did all setup/teardown. No 57 at the moment. Used to have 2; but I think I borrowed them out and never got them back. Been awhile.

No problem. ;)

Did you try SD1>OD1X>Decimator?
I'd dial in a sound with the OD1X and the Amp, that's a (little) too fat and then clean boost it with the SD1 to tighten it up.
I'd love to try that out now. Damn. Not sure if i like the digital pedal though...
Can you make clips? ;)
The OD1X is only partially digital. The DS1X, you can tell the digital easily. The OD is impossible to tell IMO. At least mine is.

It says it's digital on the Boss page. 🤷‍♀️
I've had this one for 12 or so years. The first ones were 'partially' digital. For example, when I compare this one to the DS1X, and that god awful OD 200 I tried a few years back the difference with my OD1X and those others was huge. I use an 86 SD1, a newer SD1, and the OD1X and they all sound like analog pedals to me. VS those others I mentioned. Maybe they've changed the OD1X over the years?
If so, I'm glad I have an earlier one.

wonder if they start to offer also the dual in all black...I am not personally attracted to the chrome chassis...can't see s**t with all those reflections :D
holy shit, my Engl Invader is like that too.

I’m honestly so happy with how my Dual RI now sounds that I haven’t felt compelled to roll tubes.
I’m curious how it’ll be with EL34’s and my Chinese pres, so I will be eventually.
I get this. I have always put silver dragons in the preamp, but when I got my MGL, i just left the square getters in because the circuit isn't noisy

Picked up the Traditional cab that was waiting for me at FedEx on the way home from working out of town. I'll turn it up tomorrow while my wife's at work. 😏

What is the sentiment on these triple reissues? Are they good? …I hear mixed reviews that mention they can be stiff in comparison to the dual reissues. I just want to know if the triples feel good under the fingers. They look cool as hell. …I’d basically only play the D standard chugga chugga with it, ha!

In general, triples are tighter and more aggressive than duals. No rectifier is stiff compared to a Marshall though

I have the Dual RI. It’s a perfect Recto IMO

That’s my concern. It seems that many of the RT community have the same sentiment. Can’t tell you how many YouTube reviews I’ve watched and rewatched of the dual. That thing slays. …also, I like the idea of having to fight back the flub with a boost. The net result is really pleasing to my ears. The duals seem to do this thing really well.

….i wonder if the triple is tight already, and doesn’t take boosts in the way the dual does. My go to is the maxon 808, and the Fortin Blade. Does the triple have the flub and girth?

They feel just as good as the Dual RI's. The preamps between the Dual RI and Triple RI are about as identical as two amps can be. One is not tighter or looser than the other. The Triples have a little bit more headroom which means they hold together better at high volume but otherwise they're extremely close.

That’s very encouraging; I’m only getting one, lol, and the triple seems mighty tempting. The Rev G triples on YouTube sound soooo brutal in a good way. Anyone out there have a triple reissue willing to share their sentiments? 🙏😎
