Taking Back Sunday are incredible songwriters

they are one of the few emo/pop/punk/whatever bands i actually enjoy. Some of my hardcore and metal friends secretly liked them too, a couple times i found their albums hidden behind another CD in their CD books i still bust my one friends balls about it

Shit man have you seen the godawful music that gets posted here? Compared to Taking Back Sunday, who have really excellent lyrics and arrangements?

Also, apparently the dipshits from Creed are really serious artists that deserve to be taken super seriously

I would use a Rectifier.

My Brother and Drummer tells me my band is punk and I use a Mark IV. Maybe I should be using a Carcosa for the attack.

As for Marshall I find myself moving farther away from that sound. Not really sure why.

Can't dispute that!! I will add that my friend reminded me that while Fletcher from Pennywise certainly went to a Rectifier, classic Pennywise (like Unknown Road, About Time, Full Circle) was all Mark series.

.....I need to break out the Mark IV and rip some skate punk!

Honestly OP if you find a good deal on a good 412 you can always get 2 Chinese V30s from Avatar Speakers for 95 bucks and mix them with what came with the cab.

Depending on how good a deal you get the 412 at you might want to go for 4 V30s too.


Definitely something to consider.
