This piano thing sucked big time, like it was totally playing something else. The guitars sounded very bad IMHO, Hammet was, well, under par. Bad evening for the Mets.

This is kind of like being in a museum and a large group is looking at the Picasso exhibit and a washed-up starving artist dude in the center states at every piece, ".....this guy sucks and is a hack, he can't even paint in a straight line and his use of black is horrendous!"

Come on man, surely you can see I wasn't directly comparing Metallica to Picasso. This was meant as an analogy. Picasso is to cubism as Metallica is to metal. Not too ridiculous is it?

i'll give metallica their credit for being pioneers of metal music (their first 3 records were classics), so i sort of get your analogy, but picasso never lost his ability to perform his craft. most people improve their abilities over time, metallica has no excuse for BARELY being able to perform songs they wrote, plain and simple. we're not just nitpicking here, and unfairly scrutinizing metallica's grammy performance, it was a complete disaster.
