Mightymike, my replies had nothing to do with george,if you go back and read if you can, once you opened the door and started to run your mouth about me thats when I came back and spoke my peace. Now can you answer my last reply instead of all BS small talk.Do I think your a jagoff,YES you are and many others feel the sameway. If this was happening at metro amp you would have that ban button in your hand with a big smile on your face with major wood     waiting for the right time to HIT that bottom, you need serious brain medicine..............

You're not fooling anyone. Everyone can read your posts and decide for themselves. To me, they just reinforce what everyone is trying to tell you. I guess you'll never learn. Glad you are FINALLY done.

All I know, is Ive played Eddie's Marshall a bunch of times and it has all the gain needed for VH 1

Instead of a "VH" toggle switch on the front, it has a "Ted Templeman" toggle switch on the back.
Don Landee toggle. You dont wanna know what a Ted Templeman toggle would do to ya...

Right right that's who I meant, the engineer….

Mightymike, it goes to show what type of person you really are and people can see that. Some people here really dont want to get involved but they know who the sane/stronger person is.You come out of the woodwork to this site(rig talk)because you lost your followers and sheep and start you BS here.Like I said you banned me from metro amp 4 years ago and you still cant get over it and then you bring it here.Remember you opened the door and I spoke my peace the facts are there which you cant deny............... :loco: :loco:

Why don't you guys take this up on the playground after school?

LP freak your right its getting alittle out of hand, but none of this would have happen unit mightymike came here and opened the door(his mouth),all was fine here.I forgot about this 4 years ago, mightymike CANT, Im not going to let this loser get away with his BS,many others feel the sameway.Anyway mightymike wouldnt show up at the playground anyway...........

A thousand positive remarks can slip by unnoticed, but one "you suck" can linger in your head for days. One hypothesis as to why this and the backfire effect happens is that you spend much more time considering information you disagree with than you do information you accept. Information which lines up with what you already believe passes through the mind like a vapor, but when you come across something which threatens your beliefs, something which conflicts with your preconceived notions of how the world works, you seize up and take notice. Some psychologists speculate there is an evolutionary explanation. Your ancestors paid more attention and spent more time thinking about negative stimuli than positive because bad things required a response. Those who failed to address negative stimuli failed to keep breathing.

Lets just go back and chase the VH1 tone again because arguing on the internet is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you play the pigeon is going to knock over the pieces, crap on the board and strut around like he’s victorious.

George's site is down, and all that information could be missing. This thread is about Metro Amp Forum.

Internet Arguing Requirements

You need quick and accurate typing skills plus decent grammar.

Too many good points can otherwise be refuted with a simple reference to a typo you made or grammatical howler.

My weak point is apostrophes. Don’t tell anyone.

You need the ability to understand and misconstrue without really thinking about it.

Spending a lot of time fooling about with mates is a good way to practice this.

A reliable fast internet connection. Getting disconnected in the middle of the heat of battle may make your opponent think you have run away, or gone offline to find help elsewhere on the net.

Not having any interest, empathy or caring about the subject are great assets. They enable you to go off on any path of your choosing – an advantage over the victim who may actually give a damn.

Here are some common ploys:

The Too Short Answer

In order to prove you wrong, your victim may have written a lengthy masterpiece, well written with copious references that prove their argument once and for all. If you were in a court of law you would now have lost. But to win on the internet all you need is to convince the other members of the jury, er forum, that you are indeed the dude of the moment.

Here are some short answers:

You have missed the point
I haven’t read the whole thing but…
If I wanted to read a book I’d go to the library
I’m glad we now agree.
Thanks for your apology.
Whatever.

The longer the post, the shorter the answer. If you can’t be bothered to wade through his lengthy explanation, no one else will either.

Ha,ha that's some funny shit, you obviously made that all up...nobody around here or the other forums who have seen you continually spew your Van Halen tone tirades is messaging you to pat you on the back or have your back. All one big dillusion :D

Watch out SJK! Nitro and his imaginary friends will kick your ass.

I know it's a forum and everything, but the serious lack of basic grammar skills in the majority of these posts is astounding.

+1

Nitro, post a screen shot of your PM inbox. I dare ya.

You're not fooling anyone and by all accounts you started the shitpile in this thread. Sorry George.

Luckily for the most part here at rig-talk we don't need to be heavily moderated (censored) by someone with gate keeper syndrome. Worse yet are the pansies who secretly pm the mod complaining when someone uses a bad word or hurt someone's feelings. I don't know the story of what went on at other forums but we usually don't have the need here.
