Metro Amp forum?

What Bs I gave my thoughts I'm not the only one that feels that why.I said what I said and left it alone until mightymike opened it up.I don't sit back or crawl in the corner.Like I said my issue wasn't George..
 
the site is a huge asset to the community of guitarists and the DIY amp builders.

The question and object of my thread wasn't to ask you if you cared. You came in looking to start problems because of some grudge you're holding.You did the same thing on The Gear Page back in 2013 when the site was down.Not a stretch to see why you've been banned before. You do it to yourself.
 
Do what to myself, it's a open thread for people to give thoughts and opinions if some dont like someone's reply, well that's to bad.This is American not China where you have to watch what you say.You shouldn't forget about that.Others that have had the same experience I had are afraid to speak,which is sad......I'm not a person who looks for trouble but I will speak my mind.

You might not be aware of this, so let me enlighten you. Brad King and George are friends, and involved in business together as well, if I'm not mistaken.

Do you really think you're not pissing in Brad or George's Wheaties just cuz you have an issue with a moderator?

Seems to me like you always have the same thing to say, irrespective of forum. Then you attack anyone who thinks differently. You say you don't look for trouble but somehow trouble really finds you on these forums.

Well, yes this is America and you should watch what you say. Most civilized folks do.
 
rgorke its amazing that you come out of the woodwork now you say the samething all the time that I attack people when I disagree with someone which is not true I just give what the facts are thats all.rgorke arent you attacking me now or you just need to follower the followers.You did the same thing to Mark(Rockstah)when he had his site.....

Alright, I just have to figure that if George wants mightymike as a mod, that they're probably friends. As such, his opinion/judgment on a situation is probably going to be a factor with George. You might want to think about how you could be creating a situation with your recent posts...or not. Your call, of course.

I never got into all of the EVH talk, as it's basically pointless. Everyone's ears are different, they hear things slightly different live as well. I've had two players listen to one guy's rig and swear they heard different gear/pedals/speakers/amps used, then found out they were both wrong when they met him backstage.

Back on topic, I hope the forum gets back up. I'm an advertiser there, and pay to keep it alive. I've learned a lot there on amp building myself, and it would suck if it went down for the count.

Well, I'm in and out of forums right now due to a frigging nasty ass head cold/flu...but thanks. Glad you like them. (Back to bed once again, argh.)
 
For those in the know, please keep us informed of the progress.
 
The site going down might stink for DIY amp guys by not having that info easily on hand for builds mods and repairs. But for those that sell $4k plexi replicas its a blessing.
 
I miss this site big time. I have been getting help from the site for years. I met George a couple of years ago at the amp show in NY (really in NJ) I had bought stuff from him, board, caps, parts, super fantastic guy, always answered all my stupid questions. WE need the metro back
 
I recorded this quick bit last night on my Metro 12000 at LESS than talking volume to show how great the tone and PPIMV circuit is. I switch a BK Butler Tube Driver off and on and I have an El Capistan providing a bit of delay.

All I know, is Ive played Eddie's Marshall a bunch of times and it has all the gain needed for VH 1 :rock:
