I gave up on flac. Can never seem to get it to work with my mac. I always thought m4a format was the same quality as WAV, but recently was told that is not true. I store almost all my music as m4a because it's much better than mp3, but not as huge as WAV.

that's because Macs dont use flac, they use ALAC.

I must have something wrong with me because I like all beer, except sours. I can occasionally taste a sour but tastes like indigestion. My favorite beers are German beers. Perfectly crafted and delicious. I do like IPAs occasionally but love Guiness too. For any of you who haven't tried, Erdinger and Ayinger are amazing.
Same here…Like everything else in the universe, there’s good and bad examples of all types of beer, so beer style snobbery is fucking ridiculous…Beer’s like women, it’s wet, delicious and comes in all different colors and flavors, some hotter than others…My biggest preference anymore is a generous alcohol content. I’m a seasoned veteran and prefer to not have to drink a case of weak domestics to achieve my desired level of hydration.

We need to get back to using Real Audio and .ra files
Reminds of youtube's dumb policy of not letting people re-upload videos. There's still videos on there from 2006 that are in 240 p that look awful.

*Stomp Clap* Hey!

IPAs, "adulting", Bespoke burgers, Low T men with beards and flannels trying to reclaim their masculinity....

It was a terrible time to be a young adult, I'll tell you.

Most of you guys were old enough, and got to avoid the brunt of it, but it was so cringey and awful and unavoidable at the time

This video is actually too nice to this dogshit brand of music, and the dogshit belief system and pseudo-morality that went along with it. But his criticisms of the "gnome vocalists" and oversinging like American idol are definitely on point.

Only disagree on IPAs, love ‘em same as lagers.

What’s so bad in a nice bitter beer though bro?

It tastes like piss and pinecones smell :ROFLMAO:

I don't have any problems with you enjoying it, it's just the whole "i'm an IPA sommalier" thing that happened during this era is really, really annoying

I’m an lager and pilsner sommalier too :D

I rarely get IPAs here, so when I do I try to go for the best I can get, so can’t say for the whole market.

That said, bullshit like Miller and Corona tastes rubber to me. Our local mass produced lager is better tbh, but they do be have variance batch to batch.

But in the end, nearly any beer is better than no beer. And those hipster dudes in beer community I also can’t stand. They have that misha mansoor vibe 😂

How about the repeats of the same word over and over again because it seems the artist either can't come up with a rhyming word or better lyrics. It sounds cheap and leaves me thinking there should be more to it. When you hear it, you will know what I am talking about.

Man, my best bud drummer I essentially grew up with was a ridiculous drummer as a teen, went to Berklee and attached himself to Mike Mangini the 2 years he was there, double bass labs, independence labs, he was a total prog metal nerd then and comes out of Berklee as you’d expect; a fucking phenomenal technically capable drummer.

Dude joins a band playing this kind of music, moves to Nashville and in 2 weeks he’s playing a suitcase for a kick drum with a bunch of kids who faked being poor for a good 2 years doing there whole ‘roots/Americana’ thing.

They did a little East coast tour and came back up to where we were from, my buddy tells us immediately “Hey, don’t offer to buy anyone anything, they’re going to start pooling their change together acting like they’re broke, it’s literally an act, they’ve all got their parent’s credit cards, I’m making stupid money doing this tour”

He stuck it out because they were throwing money at him but some of the stories we’d hear about them, well….anyone who fakes being poor as if it gives them some kind of merit is a fucking moron, so you can imagine the kind of stories that’d come along with that.
The whole growing up rich and faking being poor is a weird phenomena I experienced personally, not in a musical context but in general.

I grew up dirt poor and had friends who were upper middle class and above. I remember one had a bedroom that was bigger than my whole family’s house where 4 of us lived. For some reason around 20 years of age they all started dressing in rags, smoking cheap cigarettes, drinking cheap booze etc etc. pretty much cosplaying a life of poverty whilst their parents pay rent and university fees. It was a competition on who could be the poorest. Sure enough by the time they we in their late 20s it was cool to have money again so call up dad so he can give you a house deposit so you don’t have to live near the poors.

So retarded with money as well. If they didn’t have mum and dads safety net all of them would of been homeless in no time. One of them had $14 in his account which had to feed him for the week so he went out and bought a coffee and bacon and egg roll and called up dad. Its why I don’t equate wealth and money with talent and hard work in 9/10 cases.

Not to throw a blanket statement out here, but in a lot of my experiences in life i've noticed that people with a lot of money are the most selfish and cheap. People arguing over the price of their $2 coffee or not donating, etc, typically have more money than they know what to do with.

I also don't want to stereotype here because there are a lot of hardworking 20-somethings, but over the past few years i've seen some of the laziest people in my life wirh no drive. This idea of why work hard? I'll just protest until McDonald's has to pay us all $100 and hour and then i'll apply for grants and then beg them to forgive my college debt. What the hell?

The music is the same in a lot of cases. These bands are dressed like the music style but it feels forced and not authentic. A lot of the bands back in the day whether punk, metal, country, etc busted their balls and started with nothing. Some of these bands are just thrown together now.

Stomp/clap comes in multiple versions but I usally hear it as kick drum/tambourine. Kick on the downbeat and tambourine on the upbeat. Echoing what i said earlier about Spotify channels that do cover songs of songs that came out in the 2000's, alot of which have been turned into stomp/clap versions of those songs that were never stomp/clap to begin with.

But it's not millennial music per se, it Soy/vegan/septum nose ring/anti-capitalist pro Seattle tent city openly public masturbating goat yoga hippie summer anthem music.

Now that I think about it, it's an emasculated cry for help since women's power and rights took the ugliest turn. It's the soy boy confused reaction to losing the ability to lead their own women.

You are correct in that it's an emasculated cry for help

But unfortunately, Soy/vegan/septum nose ring/anti-capitalist pro Seattle tent city openly public masturbating goat yoga hippie summer anthem music IS millennial music. It's what everyone thinks about when they think about millennials, and it will forever be associated with us just like people associate dirty fucking hippies with boomers and suicidally depressed people allergic to sincerity as gen x

I’m going to poll all my coworker today and see if this is the case because I have a feeling it isn’t 😂
