Pardon the dust, I've been working on this guitar quite a bit of late.

I had considered just doing a non momentary so that it would be silence or on, but then I would really lose the gimmick side of it which is a pretty interesting effect
You might be able to have both. There are toggle switches with three positions. One is momentary, the other two are not. But, I don't know how easy they are to obtain.
Edit: Something like this. https://www.steinair.com/product/toggle-switch-3-position-spdton-off-momentary/
I think the notation is On/Off/(On) if you go looking for other ones. Not sure if you need a single or double pole, could see both working.

Just get a mini toggle switch, you could do the same thing by flipping it back and forth or leaving it on/off if you want it to not be momentary like that.

I have kind of come to a conclusion on what to do with the kill switch. I am going to use a solid core wire as a ground bus. The Hots, I will heat shrink. I will wire a 473k resistor to ground. I think this will give me the cleanest install.

Why have the resistor at all unless you are tryng to drop top end on the pickup or something? Maybe you are, sorry if I missed that. The button is just a ground and a hot, you can attach them to anywhere, including directly to the output lugs along with your normal lead/ground. Looking forward to seeing this completed mod.
