Regardless, most 8stringers switch out their pickups. Note: these active 808s may be more troublesome to switch out, there's a whole section dedicated to going from active to passive over at 7string.
Keep us updated on your ESP. I wish I got that one instead; the perliod binding on my h308 is hideous

I think that this ESP/LTD has one big disadvantage ... the "neck" pickup placement. The minor problem - ESP Pickups. This weird pickup cover remind me soapbar so probably there will be a problem if I just want to change the pickups ...
