Welp, each day I fall in love with my Herbert more and more. I can't choose what head I like more anymore, they are both fantastic.

I had a good friend over tonight, we got both the Herbert and the VH4 cooking and we were both digging the Herbert more than the VH4 overall.
The Herbert is amazing channel 1-3 and the mid cut plus master volume 1 and 2.
VH4 channel 3 is AMAZING, the Herbert can't do a VH4 channel 3 but it does have its own amazing bark.
If I had to sell one at this point in time it would be the VH4.

I say go for the Herbert dude

Absolutely no disrespect to the newly released and thus far applauded D-Moll, but it's not tried tested and proven yet. I have no idea of what its sonic spectrum is, nor how it performs. I can't buy blind. I'll imagine I'll have one to tone-test in the near future, but otherwise, I can't commit. I am certain it's a wonderful amp - I just know after a few years of honing my tone, it's a matter of Herbert's voice or the VH4's voice. Or both.

If I could score a few Diezel amps by going down to the Diezel plant and soldering/stuffing amps I'd jump on that deal in a heartbeat.
