I usually go 45 mins to an hour at a time. Last gig was a 3 hour non-stop affair cause taking a break is like letting a bunch of $20 bills walk out the door. Can't afford that right now. If you start doing the time your fingertips take on a very hard callous that has a nice click on the strings. Like rawhide. The ultimate hammer on.
