Quality post Braddah... We've gotta connect soon - a la tele. As you know, I was slightly "inconvenienced" right around the time we were supposed to connect. Will catch up shortly

Peace,
Mojo

WOW. thats all I can say for now. This video is quick and dirty, sounds like I was pushing my recorder too hard (mic Placement was not perfect at all) , but I figure I should share it anyway and make a better one later. Its an SM57 in front of a Marshall V30 in a Marshall Cab. The amount of crunch and air this amp has is on another level. Wow.

Second part of the video with knob twiddling

Here is a clip recorded thru a Two Notes Studio -
Sounds great! Really dig the Two Notes clip

With a stratocaster??

Sweet!!!!!!

I have said it before and I will say it again. I love the TJ and I dont get why it has such a bad rap on this forum.

UBER was the LOUDEST amp I ever had. I remember my ex running to the basement saying the windows were ratting and the whole house was shaking. It was sub-sonic, cant remember the cab, probably a v30 4x4.

Very nice clip, Reza. One of the best I've heard of the TJ. Congrats on a great amp.

...You can dial in decent cleans however, everyone said you cant but i had NO issue.

Just from what I heard about halfway through the first clip, I really, really dig it. I like that you can command a little grit to make an appearance now and again with nothing more than a little playing dynamic or a gesture of the hands.

Kinda struck me with a Smashing Pumpkins or Silversun Pickups vibe in that regard. I'm about it.

The first channel sounds phenomenal. The second channel is fizz city...which could be cool in some applications, I suppose.

Okay, it definitely sounds better and much more usable in the audio clips. Still has a little bit of a high-end sizzle that sounds kind of off, but it's not nearly as pronounced.

I NEVER used the first channel on my TJ, it was all about the 2nd channel and METAL. I used to run my TJ in stereo with my Herbert, the two combined for the heavy sounded terrific, and for cleans my TJ was muted and Herbert handled cleans.
