I'm waiting on the Morris Perplex'd and the Germino Fillmore 100 came first. Never had a NAD X2
Pics of the Morris later. The Germino is killer for the old Jimi Strat/ Marshall clean/ dirty tones. A MV on back, which Greg now offers, Mustard Caps and a few upgrades I forgot.

Don't nads usually come in pairs?

  Funniest thing is, I'm unpacking this thing and unwinding tons of bubble wrap, I thought it was kinda heavy for a 50 watter. Once unwrapped I saw it was the Germino, which I didn't know was coming today

Nice. I've heard good things about Germinos but have never played one. I've always thought the Masonette looked particularly interesting.

The Morris Perplex'd is

2 Lead channels voiced different, from the thicker Plexi Free-like tones to the other channel, which is like AC/DC, VH. With a Vox voiced clean channel

Very nice indeed

Didn't know Greg was offering an MV option.
Is that on all amps?

Neither did I. I ordered the amp thru the Amp House w/ a few upgrades. When the amp was just about finished they asked if I wanted the MV, to which I said YES!  I wasn't even going to ask Greg about a MV cause I know he hasn't done it for years. I guess many people request it so it's now offered.

In any event, it works very well. I got this for a base tone for pedals, so it's set cleaner, but I did dime it and turn the MV down and it was killer.

Awesome new amp day! it does not get much better than that there
With the Germino dimed and master volume down what sort of level of gain does it make?

Yes, starting this year he is making master volume an option for $100 extra, he also is making the tube/solid state rectifier option available on the lv55 and another for $100 also. I am thinking about ordering the lv55 with rectifier option and ppimv. He says the master he is using adds no gain and when dimes is essentially out of the circuit.

You have an awesome selection of amps ! You don't see these around every day either. I am curious as to how the Morris sounds.

More than I expected and I tested it with a Strat. I'm getting a new cam and hope to make clips of all this stuff

Back to the beginning for me. A great '67 Marshall and a Hiwatt for pedals. I hope to get a board made soon.
The Perplex'd was a crapshoot, but it's killer. I like it better than the YJM, Landry and Satch JVM.

If for some crazy reason you ever sell the Morris please let me be first in line. My single channel Perplex'd is the best amp I've ever played. But I don't feel special anymore without those extra channels!
