They are very modern sounding. For heavier stuff and alt, they do well.

Never listened to these guys, will check this out.

Stickered PRS for the win. Some of their pickups are surprisingly hot and metal oriented. This yellow one with Dragon pickups is my favorite high gain guitar

Yeah, Mitch left the band years ago. That's the "new" guy. He's been touring with them for about 10 years. I don't think he's done an actual full album with them aside from that collaboration they did with the Melvins. They weren't the same after Jesse died.

I miss when they did two guitars live. A lot of their records have layered textures from two to three guitar parts that sound so unique to them but it gets lost live with one guy.
