I love the guitar, but I am waiting for a replacement as my first one arrived with a chip in the finish.
The one thing I hate is the Gotoh HAP locking tuners.

I reached out to Sweetwater and when my replacement comes in I am having them swap the tuners to the Gotoh Locking Tuners with a thumbwheel.
They are also going to do a set-up and change the strings to my preferred 9-42s, it came stock with 10-46s.

The only issue is the chrome Gotohs are out of stock until mid-June.
I looked and they have the Gold ones and I did a Chat GPT and I think they look good, only other hardware on the guitar is the silver bridge.

What do you all think?

Here are the pics stock and with gold tuners for comparison.

Yes, but do the Gold Tuners look OK with the silver bridge?
The Ibanez Script on the Headstock is kind of gold.
I assumed if you decided you liked the gold tuners, you would eventually swap the trem for the Gotoh in gold or something. If you arent changing the bridge, leave them chrome.

I don't think it looks right with gold tuners and chrome bridge. Do they have nickel? Otherwise get the chrome from another vendor and take the replacement guitar to a local tech and get the setup done there. Stupid to wait until summer for the tuners to arrive that's if they do arrive.

Thanks, they only have black or a black chrome

That gold against the white looks super classy. I'm going gold.
I didn't even need to look at the pics to agree with this.^

Gold hardware has better tone. And it looks better. And it looks amazing against white, black, or red.

Yes, but the bridge is silver, that is my only thing making me wonder if gold tiners will look ok

Why not just sell the current bridge and replace it with a gold one along with the tuners?

That is what I am afraid of, the only thing that makes me think it might be OK is the Ibanez Script in Gold on the Headstock
Just go for it. Any ghetto look just adds to the awesomeness if you are ripping some searing leads. Plus it has the ibanez script in gold like you said. I mixed just about every different hardware on a guitar chrome n gold black n gold nickel and gold and chrome etc etc and it never looks bad cause a sweet axe is a sweet axe.
