There's a difference between listening to music because of repetition, or that it has nostalgia value, or listening to music that was created with the intent of actual artistic expression

It isn't a zero sum game. You aren't going to become a shitty guitar player because you have "with arms wide open" on your roadtrip playlist. But if all you consume is disposable crap, you can't be surprised at what comes out the other end

The problem with country music is if it is real, then why must you use a bumfucked accent for the vocals. Even that dipshit from australia emulates a southern accent for his songs.

Well dont know but a lot of UK people don't have accents when they sing so maybe its more a style thing than anything. Not a big country fan at all but it's not bad sometimes
