try a gold pin tung sol in the v1 and regular tung sols in the rest of the positions. Then JJ E34L in the power section. Sounds insane

Ive also heard good things about running kt77s in the power section

KT77's awoke a slumbering monster inside of my Carvin V3 Combo. I would love to see what they would do to the Uberschall

Yea i am digging the E34L's right now but i think next retube im going to give the 77s a shot. The thing with the uber is that it takes time and alot of tinkering to get it tweaked right. I love my uber, its such a brutal amp

Gold pin Tungsols, huh? Will do. Gunna swap through Tungsols, JJs, and Chinese and see what works best in the preamp and go with JJ e34Ls for the power amp. Looking forward to it. Definitely plan on doing some comparison clips.

I just used my amplitube overdrive pedal through my Uberschall, it takes it to a different level as far as brutality. It's on my ipad, so Ill have to figure out another way to record. I think I need to get a better/more versatile interface.
