This is the record company (Golden Robot Records) that Sykes parted ways with. These are demo tracks he submitted to them that they are releasing without the family or estate's permission.

I’ve gone back and forth with this dude from Golden Dildo who put this out in Blabbermouth comments. I won’t listen to that knowing how it came to be. I’m not even a huge Sykes fan, but this is basically some dude who owned a label that is trying to scrape up whatever he can from the floor of streaming revenue from music that wasn’t even completed by Sykes while the family is doing everything they can to stop it.
Whatever this is, it’s some leftover tracks Sykes had that was cobbled together to create a song and who knows what aspects came from Sykes and what was created just to get it on streaming platforms.

Really why? They didn't get permission or did they or do they own the rights to the music?
I don't know and quite honestly I was just glad to hear the track as I'm a huge fan of John Sykes so I will just enjoy this for what it is without the drama surrounding it I guess.
John is gone and there will not be any new music so if the music he recorded before comes out in a physical form like a CD or vinyl I will buy it !

Sharron Osbourne has screwed over just about every guitar player that ever played with Ozzy and I despise her for that,
A perfect example would be how they treated Jake E Lee but that won't stop me from listening to Bark at the Moon again and again even though Jake got nothing for it which truly sucks!

Yes he was. They talked, and rumored audition. Also rumored Ozzy didn't want to pay what Sykes wanted so they went with Jake. Also this was all around the time he joined Lizzy and Sykes idolized Phil.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no video of those two together, but that might be a picture from one of the Thin Lizzy gigs that made it onto the live album titled Live Life. I think all the previous members made an appearance on that album.

I'm looking at a copy of the contract right now. Golden Robot has no right to release this. John would be beyond furious at this. The songs they have are demos John sent them to give them an idea what he was working on. His sons are aware of the situation. Whether or not it's worth it to do anything remains to be seen. Googling the guy from Golden Robot, it's obvious he is no stranger to lawsuits.

John did sort of audition for Ozzy. He was contacted and scheduled an audition. He was told there would be an amp and a band ready for the audition. So he took his guitar on the train and when he showed up, there was no band and no amp. They heard another band rehearsing nearby and John asked the bassist and drummer if he could borrow them for a few minutes.
John located some barely functioning amp in the room and asked the bass and drums to play something and he jammed over it, John said Ozzy was completely inebriated and John doubted Ozzy would even remember him being there.
John left and soon after, got asked to join Thin Lizzy and he jumped at that offer.
Later, Ozzy slammed John in an interview for showing up at the audition without an amp. John said "I guess he did remember."
