Having moved a small 2x12 loaded with old EV, I can only imagine how massive an EV loaded 4x12 must be!
Talking about massive 4x12, I have an old early 70's Hiwatt with the original Crescendo; I literally had / preferred to hire a couple of pro movers to bring it upstairs, no kidding.

Congrats! That's a bad ass looking cab! I've got a couple of them and they are some of the greatest sounding cabs ever. Heavy is an understatement, but worth it if you leave it in one place or hire movers... not kidding... I hired some pro movers to get mine upstairs, too... Mine aren't going anywhere, but damn they sound great.

Two full stacks. The rec is sitting on a mode4 with v30’s and a 1960 with 75’s . Got the kemper and isp running into the avatar and mesa…. 80 watts each. Everything is hooked up and plugged in so getting ready to fire it up…. Now I need to dump the crate cab. Surprisingly though the crate cab sounds great….

Ah, you can never have too many cabs, especially great sounding cabs :rawk:

Congrats- great cabs!
I sold a few off- have one of the 2x12 left, & a 4x12 straight/slant.
Enjoy!

Bro these are my favorite cabs ever. I swore if I ever got another that it would never leave. Between this and my mode4 cab I’m straight….
welcome back to the fold bro bro! love mine too!

fwiw,
after A/B ing i prefer keeping the top half of the cab closed vs open.

speaking of speakers😁
just added some mojotones to my mahalo 4x12 today. the mix of modern sounding WGS and vintage sounding Mojotone is working out perfectly for me!
