Update: Okay, here is a picture of the cab and how it was mic'd.



So I sold a guy my 1x12 cab that I didn't need anymore since I just got the 2x12. He gave me this as a very minor partial trade. I figured it would be fun to try out. Kinda surprised at how good it sounded. The only thing I changed on my amp was lowered the bass from 5 to 4, raised the mid from 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 and lowered the treble from 6 to 5. No eq or post processing. Also playing with the gain on 2.

Sounds brutal as usual man. Double tracked I think it'd be huge. Nice bass definition and the highs are pleasing with no screech. Orange cab? What'd you put in there?

Thanks man. It is double tracked. I went for a more "rockish" sound. It is a GK 250ML amp minus the amp. Just a cab with 2 6 1/2" Pyle Pro speakers. I'm pretty sure replacements. Recorded really quick, guitar and bass tracks are 100 raw.

Yeah, I went for a different sound for sure. Also pointed the mic in a different direction. This was first try mic'ing this cab. I like the way it came out with a thicker midrange and toned down on the highs. I've mentioned before that my amp isn't too picky with speakers. This proves that(to me at least) once again.

I had a gk rl 250 I think back in the day !!
But never had the cab .
