"New" Tangerine Guitar Day

I have lusted after this color since the first day it came out. They are hard to find these days and when are available, they are either too much or people snag them in seconds.

I managed to acquire this body. For now, i took everything off of my USA black San Dimas and slapped it on here, though i may get all new parts for this one and put this all back on the Black one in time. Either way, i have pretty much all the parts i need in my shop except a neck. Regardless, i'll have two seriously kick ass Charvels in my arsenal soon.

Me too. Man.. i have been lusting for this color for so long. I never bothered because, for a while i wouldn't play a guitar i didn't build from scratch or my Gilmour, but decided that was silly when i got the quasi Charvel endorsement.

This body was free to me. Picked it up yesterday and had it all together in an hour. LOL.

OK. So my black Chavel is back together and MusiKraft got a neck out to me in two weeks. The headstock is as it's supposed to be. They really should change the pic on it's site.

The neck is perfect. I don't know what the MusiKraft haters on my MusiKraft thread are talking about. This neck feels IDENTICAL to my Charvel neck. Nicer actually in fret-work. My only assumption is that those people played necks not made with the proper profile settings. :idk:

I set up the guitar with my black Schaller bridge i've had floating around for a decade. Pickups are Duncan Distortion Neck in the neck position and Custom Custom in the bridge. Great combo for this guitar. It feels exactly like my Charvel. Slapped my logo on it, because i hate blank headstocks and in the end, it is just another parts guitar, but with a USA Chavel body and MusiKraft neck. Plays like butter.

Anyway, i brought my DSL home (not using it for anything at the moment) and snapped some pics.

Nice. I have a black MIJ So-Cal that I have had for years that is a great guitar. I have a Duncan Invader in it, trying to bring some chunk to the sound.
