NGD!!! Fury Unleashed lol

Does anyone recall the series interview clips YJM did during the pandemic?

There's one where he, for the rarest occasion, turned off his Fender YJM pedal and demo his basic non-boosted tone. Pedal switched back on... All fury unleashed! The whole scene was only less than a minute in a 20+min YouTube clip.

I'm trying to find that YouTube clip again for years, but I can't seem to locate it anymore.

Anyone here has that particular clip saved?

I dont have that issue but I can see how some would. You can look at some guitars online and see the neck shift is worse than others. But repositioning neck helps. But some folks do buy a vintage narrow trem to make string spacing better also. But my particular guitar is ok as is, as long as i dont monkeygrip the neck while playing. But that would make notes go sharp also
I saw a YouTube clip that showcased how to fix the mis-alignment. The dude literally loosen the neck and told everyone to depress the neck hard while tightening the bolts.

Its not difficult. But i do think Fender’s quality control could be a lot better. If you pay that much, neck/string alignment shouldnt be an issue. I got a good one at least. 😊

I've got a jap pre sig strat and it's cool but def not at the quality of the American ones. How does it hold tuning when you Yngwie it?

With normal trem use it stays in tune. But i have been letting the guitar acclimate to my house a few days before i tweak the setup more to my liking. With heavy trem abuse it gets a little wonky with the tuning. I expect it to get better after i set it up and lube the nut etc…. But i only use the trem lightly anyway so isnt an issue for me as it is now. Im not a crazy trem guy even with my ibanez rg’s

Congrats on the new axe! I have a 2001 Malmsteen - one of the best guitars I own. I have the Ocelot strap but no Ferrari sticker :-)

Anyone ever thought of, or have done, relic'ing your YJM axe?

The thought have crossed my mind many times, but also contemplating just buying a pre-relic'd vintage white body from MJT (or Warmoth).
