I can honestly say my two YJM Strats (one rosewood, one maple) are my favorites. Removing wood lets the soundwaves radiate with less damping. Profit follows.
Took me a few weeks to adjust my touch to work with scallops, and made me a better player. Seems perfectly natural now.

I actually really want one of these. I don’t think any other strat or guitar will scratch the itch. These are just so unique and specific. Congrats man.

Yea, if you are able snag one for sure. Its very unique but quite versatile also. It’s Not only for harmonic minor phrygian diminished stuff while doing high kicks and swinging guitar around the body

It doesnt bother me at all transitioning from one guitar to the other. I feel if you can play a regular fretboard with jumbo or superjumbo frets then there shouldnt be an issue with scalloped boardi know its all subjective but to me its like it was made for me. I like it!
