Very cool guitar. I'm not usually into relics but I dig this one. Congrats on a great score.

He advertised it as never been played and I believe him, you know when you pick up a guitar and you're the first person to plug a cable into it, it has that super tight feeling? Feels like this one was never plugged in.

I do have to comment on this silliness though. I can't imagine somebody bought a guitar and never even plugged it in before deciding to sell it, but let's assume he's telling the truth. They plug them in at the factory and try everything out before they ship, so it was definitely plugged in and played before you got it. I don't believe they grow a new input jack hymen after leaving the shop
And I'm not sure what you mean about that super tight feeling being an indication of anything...just adjust the input jack and most any old guitar will have a tight feel.

They did a run of three of these. A red, blue and your white one. My buddy has the blue one and loves it. The body wood is Alder and it should have a Duncan JB pup in it. These were built by Mike Shannon and Chip Ellis. My friend has a cool PIC (with your guitar in it) Of them holding all three guitars at the factory. Cool guitar you got and if it plays anything like my friends blue one hold on to it.

ha, I saw that pic when I googled Charvel tortured and the first thing I thought was I would love to have the blue one. Thanks for the heads up. And yes, its plays amazing

I don't dig or get relics at all, but that's the first one I have seen that looks real to me. Excellent work.
