I've been seeing a lot of the MIJ copies on Reverb lately. I had an Electra LP when I first started playing many years ago. My dad had it when he was kid. It was a bolt-on, in pieces with most of the finish taken off. Cherry sunburst w/ a thick flame maple cap on it, mahogany body. It was a killer guitar, despite being beat to shit.

I think the Suntech stuff was made in the same factory as the Electra/Tokai guitars. I know that each company had several different factories in Japan, and they were all shared between multiple MIJ copy companies. Electra, Tokai, Burny, Ibanez, Suntech.

Yes you do! I couldn't remember who I sold it to. I want it back now, haha! I've been thinking about it a lot lately. I would be interested in buying it back and giving it to my dad if you are willing to sell it!
