NGD : Tom Anderson Angel

I custom ordered this guitar a while back and I've had it for a few months but didnt get a chance to take pictures till now. Absolutely incredible guitar, plays and sounds amazing. I cant say enough good things about Anderson guitars, this is my third one.

The color on this is custom that as far as I know Anderson hadnt done before. They have done solid silverburst finishes but I havent seen anything like this from them in the past. We went back and forth for a bit about how I wanted the color to come out, sent him pictures of ideas I had etc. Ended up coming out sick IMO...Roy said they loved it over there at Anderson and it was a featured guitar on there facebook page.

If you are considering a custom build and trying to decide on a builder I highly recommend Anderson. Extremely consistent instruments , I havent played one that didnt blow me away.

One of the best looking guitars I have seen in awhile. Hum/single combo, volume only, I love those specs. I hope I can afford an Anderson Angel in the future because that is exactly what I want.

I would have ordered it exactly the same way. I don't use a tone control and the volume is in a perfect location for me, out of the way. And of course the reverse headstock. Single coil at the neck and a hum at the bridge is my favorite pu combo. Killer guitar.

Hey guys that's cool you all dig the layout and color ! I never use the tone pot so this time I went with volume only and its basically in the tone pot location. The neck profile on this is even taper +.03. I could have went even one more size thicker but this feels perfect to me. Not very thin and not very thick. My Pro Am has regular even taper which is great also, not a big difference honestly its subtle.

Killer guitar! My brother got an Angel last year and I liked it so much I sold my Suhr's and went back to Anderson. Just got a call from Brian at Guitar Sanctuary and my first Angel has arrived. Probably have it by Friday.

Thanks man ! I have a Bare Knuckle Crawler in the bridge now. Awesome pickup, sounds killer in this guitar. The neck is a Duncan but I plan on changing it to something else any suggestions ?

I like Anderson pickups but I find them a bit to smooth at times for a bridge rhythm tone. I'm a big Bare Knuckle fan so all my Andersons have BKs. Plus as you mentioned Tom doesn't offer humbuckers in white and to me this guitar looks best with white.
