Yes everyone there will be a Carvin Legacy 3 invieled at NAMM. I'll consider it a success if it's not nearly as ugly as the first two.

lol - i like the legacy's , they are def ugly as shit ...the cleans are pretty nice and i really like the lead tone, its kinda unique. Not great for rhythms though IMO, TO LOOSE. If they could keep the original clean and lead tone and have a kick ass rhythm channel that is tight and aggressive i'd buy one.

But it is pretty butt ugly with that '70's professor pants' brown faceplate. What an awful color.

Keep the gain on the amp not too high (between 5-7) and hit it with a tighter sounding pedal. The amp is much more versatile this way. thick mid gain or step on the pedal and have a tighter fire-breather. The Malmsteen DOD pedal is great for brightening/tightening this amp...or any darker, thicker-gained type amp (like my Budda)dawnofdreamx97":2cn09zjy said:

You didn't see Steve really pushing the II he never did a demo video and a lot of gear pics he still was using the original. That makes me think he wanted some more changes. I also have to think they will offer a mini head and maybe a 1x12 as well cause the v3m was a huge hit for them.

I don't agree...I think it is just a sales thing...new product cuz the II was a dead duck in the water. New product = new interest.
