No more PRS/Les Pauls for me!

Sometimes I think it has to do with the thick hard finish but I'm really not sure.


My thoughts exactly, though add in the Les Paul Custom and PRS's. I think that it's because they aren't as heavy as I'm expecting and they have 10+ (probably not really) coats of urethane, so it's 1/4" thick of plastic gloss on top.
 
This is a gloss. Not super thick. Guitar "Breathes" very well.
 
The only Caparison I've played was a Delinger 7 string that I think was oil finished? It was a nice guitar. Definitely did not feel like the Collings and PRS guitars that I was complaining about.
