I have been addicted t Vintage 30's for the past 20 years and have tried greenbacks multiple times, Creambacks, CL80's, and a few Scumback M variants, multiple X pattern combos, etc.. always going back to the V30's pretty quick. All of the best Cameron videos that I have seen were with G12H30's and since my CCV clone have been my main amp for the past month, I have to take the plunge and try them. Right now they are in the top 2 spots with V30's in the bottom 2, but so far, these things smoke. There have a certain voice to them that seem to be a perfect match for these Jose based circuits. I am going to place an order to swap the other 2 next week and go for all 4

-when you say G12H30 are you talking HERITAGE, 75hz , 55hz or ANNIES?-

At some point if you have the chance grab a vintage cab with early to mid 70s greenies. There is a difference, compared to even blackbacks with the Kurt Muellers, IMO and certainly the chinese versions. I do like the anniversaries too but the cream/graybacks are my fav even over pre Rolas for high gain Marshalls.

Yes, curious about this as well.
I have a Wizard 4x12 loaded with the Heritage 55hz version and it sounds amazing.
I've tried the anniversaries, and thought they sucked donkey balls....
YMMV

I've tried the Heritage Greenies and thought the same when I owned my Bogners. It's all about pairing with the right amp.

Yup, true enough
To be honest though, I didn't think much of the Heritage ones either, until I got them broken in, then

Took you long enough. Haha. The anniversary H30’s are awesome IMO.

After some extensive playing tonight with other amps 8 I feel that these are less compressed and more crunchy than my V30s

I had one of those 1960HW cabs with those speakers and it was probably my favorite cab ever.

The HW cabs have the Heritage G12h-30 55hz speakers in them.
Scottosan is using the 70th anniversary version.

I made the swap to anniversary G12H30s about a year or so ago from v30s and haven’t looked back .

I have 2 of them that are literally unused as I pulled them out of a brand new cab. Let me know if you want them?....have to check what ohms they are.

Seems like it's a love/hate thing with the annies. No in-between.

I need a pair of 8 ohm

I have used all the 3 g12h types...

i found the annies a bit blah(in 2x12)
i liked a lot the g12h30 55hz(in a 4x12)
I LOVE the g12h30 75hz (in a 4x12)

Anniversaries alone...no thanks. Nice mids and decent lows but terrible highs.

Anniversaries mixed with V30s = Win

Also a big v30 lover here.
The h30 Anniv. blew me away from my experience.
With having zero experience with them, i took the plunge on the Big Friedman cab loaded with those on top and the 15” celestions below them. The h30’s have a great crunch and presence to them. I have really grown to love them. No experience outside of the Friedman cab though. But I’m really digging them!!!
