I'm glad you sorted it out. I'm loving this amp.

Only feature I'm not sure on yet is the Shred. I like what it does, it could actually replace my OD808 for my needs, but it does add some hiss. I guess this is to be expected considering what it is but I don't like that it comes after my Decimator pedal that is in front of amp. I tried putting Decimator in loop but prefer in front. Maybe I will look into getting a NS-2 and try 4cm with it.

The JP2c doesn’t really have a crunch channel. They are basically the same channels but have the options of tweaking them to sound different.

Still playing around but TBH I do not really need it. I think it sounds better without it so far. I liked it at first, especially before I solved the tube issue but last night after getting the amp 100% it sounded better without it by myself in the room.

The amount of gain and treble I like with the shred on does make it noisy. They even talk about that in the manual.

Anyway as of this moment I do not plan on using the shred, Have not used the noise gate yet with the amp so idk about that. IMO the amp doesnt even need a boost and without a boost I do not really get much noise.

I am sure I will still be testing them out though. Just got the Buxom and have a different boost arriving today in the mail

Check all of your cable connection/s to the amp and from the amp to the speaker cab. And the socket in your electric guitar. If the signal seems weak, try another cable.

Also, turning up the Treble on a Mesa/Boogie amp will let through a much hotter signal, thus causing more distortion.
