Oof, I hate the beatles.....

I did well in music history in college but I was also a music major and wasn't pissing off the then noob teacher by running my yap like a hundred other people in the lecture hall while he was talking. People took that course by the hundreds thinking it was gonna be a breeze cause they listen to alternative rock and shit, lol, guess again. Lots of F's were handed out because jazz, blues, and classical. Teacher ended up being the department head and retired a few years back. Has his own record company, been to the grammys, I think he works at U of M now in some capacity. Great dude. Another one of a handful I have great memories of.

I've always been an enjoyer of many musics so the class was pretty much a breeze for me plus like I said, I didn't piss the teacher off. I got to watch him realize he was gonna have to put his foot down in real time in his first class of his first year. Unreal how people were disrespecting him in a university. Music theory on the other hand....I had already memorized my major scales and was underwater in theory 101 by the 2nd week with voice leading, had to drop it.....

Especially when it is not even close to warranted. But a lack of self confidence and self worth is often accompanied by a false showing of arrogance in an attempt to fool others.

Also diff review by dudes here for those who don't play as heavy or chug like Ola. This amp has something for everyone and everybody.

I didn't know about this amp until recently seeing it in the Emporium.
Watched a lot of clips. I dig the crunch to heavy tones on both channels. Great versatility, with bite and clarity.

That clip by Doug Rappaport inspired me to pick up the guitar the other night, kinda cop that riff. Made this clip:


I really want to check the Black Cat out.

Hmmm..... I'm thinking this is pretty much what some players want out of the Lynx 50.


The Hot Cat 50 boost the mids overall which is what most players want who don't like the Lynx 50. I'm thinking Channel 2 in Hi is the Channel 1 in Hi on the Lynx but probably with a bit more gain......

So more mids and and a tad bit less gain but still more than enough gain for most, just ask Ola.
