Opinions on 500T in Les Paul

Here's another interesting bit of info, just general stuff, but I found it interesting...

That looks exactly like my Classic. I've traded pickups in it over and over and right now it has the 500T back in it.

I liked the 500T in the Classics I have had. It is a good pickup for hard rock and metal. If you want traditional blooze or smooooth jazz, look elsewhere. I thought it did a a really good blues rock tone with the volume knob rolled back a bit.
 
I replaced the pickups in my Classic with a BKP Miracle Man set. Such a huge improvement to my ears. Again different strokes :)
 
I have a 2000 LP Classsic Goldtop and am very satisfied with the stock 500T. I also get more compliments with that guitar through my rig than any of my other guitars. I don't want to mess with a good thing.
