If anyone had a realistic perspective, they might suggest Longview by Green Day, because that's all the groom will be gettin in 6 months.

Billy Squire - Stroke! Stroke!

The call is...

Magnet and Steel by Walter Egan.

Possibly one of the cheesiest tunes that's perfect for a first dance.

That or Brass Monkey...

that is a great song, did you know Stevie Nicks sings the back ups on that song

Chocolate Rain- Tay Zonday.

She Hates Me by Puddle of Mud.

For the girls- Anything by Seether or Hinder. Those bands seem to get big by writing Pv$$ywhipped songs.

More than Words or Hole Hearted by Extreme. Afterwards, play Get the Funk Out.

Or, this one by Hayseed Dixie

When you are trying to decide on the song that you will dance on with your partner during wedding ceremony, don't go through huge list of songs. Just think of style and wording that you want to dance on. Then you can easily select your designated song.

My buddy played an acoustic version of Iron and Wine's cover of Such Great Heights. He stood up near us and played/sang. The song has history for my wife and I but it would be a great choice for anyone.

Iron and Wine's version:

"If you don't start drinking I'm gonna leave"
George Thorogood

I pushed for this at my wedding, but got denied as the wife thought it was "too cocky." That said, I think the best first dance song ever would be Straylight Run "Existentialism on Prom Night." Not my general type of song, but I dig it.
