god damn gus G is boring as hell in ozzy's band compared to zakk lol

and why didn't they play a new song from the new album instead of this one?
 
Dang, tough crowd! I read the thread before watching the video and I was expecting the worst. I didn't think it was bad at all. Yeah it's not 1985 anymore but I thought it was alright. But more importantly, I really want a Bud Light right now.... :confused:
 
Gonna have to get used to seeing Gus there.

Who was on bass and drums? That wasnt borden was it?

I have always been a big Ozzy fan, but man that was boring as hell. I agree about Gus's tone sounding bad, it definitely sounds like he was fighting it too.

As much as i do think Zakk got boring and lazy during the last 10 years, I'd still rather watch Zakk play guitar with Ozzy anyday over Gus G. From the performances i have seen so far with this current lineup in the band, it just sounds boring and it's boring to watch. I'm not trying to be negative towards Gus, as he's a great player... but I'd rather listen to him play in Firewind as he sounds killer on that stuff and fits it perfectly!!

i realize change can be good sometimes especially in music...but
ozzy-if it ain't broken don't fix it

Geez. It wasn't that bad. :doh: Yes, his tone was horrid, but it was kinda nice to hear an Ozzy song without 5,000 pinch harmonics. I've never really gotten over Jake leaving the band anyway, been trying to get used to Zakk since 1988. He did write some killer tunes though, gotta give him that. :rock:
 
I've never heard anybody play that intro right. Or even explain (to my satisfaction) how it was done.

Sounds like he needs to turn the noise gate/ dbx compressor off.

Its cutting his sustain and notes off. :doh: Needs to turn up also :rock: to low in the mix.

Not as bad as everyone says it is. :no:
 
I heard worse from Ozzy...
heard plenty better though!
I was sick of Zakk in that band anyhow.
He is better off with BLS. :thumbsup:

Terrible tone. Lame licks. Hate to be so harsh, but Randy, Jake, Zakk...........and now this crap? Not even close. Wow. :no:
