LOl - that's for the 12 bands over 2 days - the fest is awesome...
Hold out then - they are touring just before and after Progpower with Edguy

I've had Celestial Entrance (their 2nd CD) for a few years now. Guitarist has a nice combo of feel and technique too. Uses (or used if he changed to something else recently) Peavey Wolfgang Standard guitars.

All the times I worked with him - he has a blue/aqua EVH, and an identical Axis as a backup.
5150 II (VERY specific about that) into 5150 cabs... lol

I have been listening to these guys for a few years. Awesome prgo rock. Check out Enigmatic: Calling. Great album! My favorite tune s called Taken. The end of the song is pure win and majestic sounding:

Sonata Artica is another excellent progressive band to check out if people like Pagan's Mind. but their albums are hit /miss

Sonata Arctica is more straight up power metal.. Everything prior to Reckoning Night is great, everything after, ehh... No thanks...

Reminds me of Alex F's band in some ways.

I thought they got pretty good 5150 tone as well.

I checked them out back when you first posted about them.

I thought they got pretty good 5150 tone as well.

My pleasure! Been listening to these guys for quite a while. The guitar player has technique, feel and taste. It is hard to find players with all three qualities. I love stuff like this too!

Did you end up liking Ki from Devin Townsend? It is different but really cool.
