Anyone else like this band? I know, where have i been  but i just started listening to them. From what I've heard they just kill. The singer is really good. It's just a damm shame that bands like this aren't well known in the USA.

Buddy of mine saw them at Prog Power in Atlanta last year (maybe the year before, can't remember). He said their vocalist was easily the best one at the show.

They're touring the USA with Stratovarius later this year. You should check it out if they're going to be in your area!

Cool dudes to work with.
They'll be in the States and at Progpower in Atlanta again this year .

pagans mind is awsome. their music kicks ass

through them is how i learned about edguy.

when is the atlanta concert? link to the advertisement?

Oh yes, they're fucking awesome! Missed out on a chance to see them live back in April... They're amongst the better bands in Norway, imo.

Ya, I totally dig Pagan's Mind. Their guitarist and bassist also play for Jorn, who is also great!

Yup, I got their last cd about a month ago and I really like them. I also dig their cover of Bowie's Halo Spaceboy.

Been listening to them about 2 months, those guys are for real   I love that kind of stuff :D

Kage told me about these guys a while back. Pretty cool. I think I'll check out more of their stuff right now.

Geebus, can DT axe LaBrie and steal the singer for Pagan's Mind? I foresee album sales skyrocketing if they were to be so bold... :D

If you like Pagan's Mind check out Eidolon, great band from Canada that has Nils from Pagan's Mind on vocals. The guitar player played in Megadeth for a little while and the drummer still does. The Parallel Otherworld is a great album even though the drum sounds are fake as all hell.

I've had Celestial Entrance (their 2nd CD) for a few years now. Guitarist has a nice combo of feel and technique too. Uses (or used if he changed to something else recently) Peavey Wolfgang Standard guitars.

Dave Sabo from skid row swares by them as well.

they are good guitars. they have a feel to them that you either like or you dont. its a thick/thin neck... hard to describe. a luthier that does excellent work around my area swares by thin necks. always said he has hated wolfgangs. when he jammed on mine at his shop he was blown away.

Sonata Artica is another excellent progressive band to check out if people like Pagan's Mind. but their albums are hit /miss

I have been listening to these guys for a few years. Awesome prgo rock. Check out Enigmatic: Calling. Great album! My favorite tune s called Taken. The end of the song is pure win and majestic sounding:

You might balk at (some) of the gear that they use.

I have one of their discs. I think the singer has a great voice, but really don't like the way he sings. I like the guitar player though. A buddy of mine are opening for them when the play around DC and I'll be there.
