Pagan's Mind

Great band, and nice people. We played a small "festival" on the Denmark ferry a couple of years ago, and PM and Masterplan (with Jørn Lande and Roland Grapow from Helloween) were headlining.

That was the first time I actually tried an Engl Savage full stack Holy cow, what an experience. Hungover like hell, and 8 12" speakers killing me from behind

Funny how the guys here are just finding out about Pagan's Mind. Like Shreder75 said, he's been talking about them for years on HC. He's the one that turned me onto them back in November '06. Better late than never, for they deserve the recognition. IMO, the best prog metal band around. Last album was lukewarm though. Looking forward to seeing them in November.

The last album was pretty good but they did change their sound a little bit. Yes, the 2nd and 3rd albums are great. I actually don't like the first album Infinity Divine. Most of the songs sound alike and you can tell they didn't have a lot of money for production.

I didn't much care for the first album either..it was ok, but it didn't grab me..especially after hearing celestial entrance FIRST..it was underwhelming
