Played the Randall Thrasher today...

Can you guys get Lynch to jam through the diavlo? He'll play and endorse anything!! But seriously, someone get some 80's slingers to play through those things so i don't just have to listen to dropped D chugga lug tight riffing. As awesome as Ola is, I never play that type of stuff anymore so would be great to see the versatility of the rig including some lower gain chops too.

Personally , I can't wait to try any of these. I just don't believe Mike Fortin would allow his name to be associated with anything less than a KILLER amp . . I have an old jcm800Bass head with his Cali mod , and it's as cool of an amp as I have.

Mike is a good friend of mine but that wont change my opinion....well maybe just a little hahahaha!

These amps are killer and you are absolutely correct, Mike would not allow his name to be associated with anything that he did not believe in.
These amps are Killer IMHO.

I also know that Mike would use any of these amp designs if he had to play a personal gig. Me and a few others got to hear everything that he has been up to and I have been personally blown away by everything that I've heard and seen so far.

No hype or BS, I think people are going to be very Happy with these and they will also be happy about the Price Point.
The amount of amp that you get for the Money is pretty amazing.


I can't wait to hear the NAMM clips when the start pouring out. I'm sure Jason and Ola are going to KILL IT at the Randall booth

I don't doubt a word of this!!! I fully love my Fortin amp and it's so different than all the other amps I have. I do have 1 suggestion and that is for a HUMAN AVERAGE-to-good guitarist to make clips with these amps. . Unfortunately both Jason and Ola are from another planet where guitars are attached to their bodies and they play so well that it's hard for your everyday barband guitarists like me to really tell what the AMP sounds like . . . You're not a slouch by any means either, (you're also an absolutely awesome guitarist btw) but at least with you I can hear more the styles that I play! Eric

Allow me to be the first to offer my services to Randall! I would be more than happy to cover return shipping to make clips of the new line-up! I am no Yngwie but I ain't those guys from Faster Pussycat either!!! I'll do recorded and "in-room" audio captures. Plus ,,, I'm more handsomer than TTK! LOL!

I agree that Mikes amps are very unique. Mike has done more then a few mods for me and not only has everyone sounded different but all of them just felt right!

I agree ,although I have yet to hear a good tone coming from anything that he has plugged into yet I kid I kid

I will give him this .He was not playing as crappy, when he met EVH today as i have seen in other vids.

To the best of my knowledge there is nothing being released like the Cali from Randall but trust me when I tell that you DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY DOWN TUNED metal in order to enjoy the new line!.
I have many hours Play time on Mikes NATAS amp and I can play 80's style and oddly enough even 70's to dropped down tuned to hell minor stuff on it should I want to hahahaha

I think to many people who like the 80's style are getting to caught up in thinking that because the amp is high gain and designed and marketed for down tunings that you can't play 80's style. That's just not true.

Just food for thought.. The 5150 is featured on a TON of metal recordings and they were voiced and designed by and for guys who played 80's style guitar and yet they were the newer/MODERN metal guitarists amp of choice along with the dual recto. The dual recto is essentially the same amp (very similar) guts based on the Soldano). and also featured on just about every metal album coming from the 90's on and yet when I play both amps, I sound like an 80's guy lol

it's more the style of the guitarist IMHO
