Their new web site seems to have this stuff up, now. They look like cool products, although, TBH, I think aesthetically, they are some of the butt ugliest amps I have seen in a while... they even ghettoized the RGs... but I guess it is da toanz that matter...

Ola Englund said this,
"The differences between the Natas and Satan are a] Added Mid sweep control, an extra gain feel knob(adding more liquid gain) and some extra eq switches." "Not only that, the transformers and choke are different(which makes a HUGE difference), the grind knob is behaving different, etc... It's built around the same circuitry but the Satan is how is like the perfect amp for me. The Natas wasn't!"

The Randall Thrasher is the equivalent to the Natas. The Satan, if I'm understaning everything correctly, is yet to be unveiled.

My uneducated guess is we'll see the Satan debuted at Muskikmeese.

cool. can't wait to hear it.

"I asked Mike about the Thrasher a couple of weeks ago and according to him it is NOT the Natas. He said there are some similarities in the circuit but it is not the same amp design."

hmmmmmm................................. a mystery. :D

Graphics are sort of Kirk HAmmetish but I don't mind them that much. I own a Lynchbox as well and I like the Randall sound. The diavlo 45 might be interesting. Also hope they all have the mic eliminator line out because their line out sounds pretty good and that would be a godsend for live use.

The Rd45 has the speaker emulated Line out and it sounds really good! I also know that the RD45 is pretty light and I'm already planning on using one live :)!

All the best!

Badass. Can't wait to check this stuff out. Looking forward to Satan in the lineup.

I can't wait to hear clips of this so called "Thrasher". This is the only time in my life I have had any interest in Randall Amps.

I think the thrasher's going to slay. I like the straight up look, no hassle knobs, presence and depth all in front.

Is the Thrasher EL34 based?

What is the push/pull bias deal??? Can you use different power tubes??

That's actually a great question and I'll see if I can find out for you.

It does not look like 34's in the photo IMHO.

^ Yup. Definitely looks like 6L6's or perhaps some KT... something or the other. :D

I really hope the amp is a gnarly as I think it's going to be!

did the trhaser sound like a Ultra XL module in the mTS line?

I was eyeing the new stuff last night. I am super interested in trying some of them. The RD20, 45, and the 5. I am liking the fact the the 20 and 5 are 6V6 powered. Cant remember if they had an effects loop or not but I hope so. I am thinking of down sizing a little. Please tell me more!!!!

The Thrasher IS going to slay. No doubt about it. Trust me. Seriously.

The Thrasher comes with 6L6 out out tubes but is equipped with a dual bias circuit that allows you to use any octal power tube combination that you like. You can match pairs of 6L6, EL34, 6550, KT88 etc to find your personal tone, all without removing the chassis.

The RD5 is the soooooooo fun to play. Completely awesome. It's hard to explain actually. I love the all the 6V6 ams as well because I think that is a great tube. The RD20 is so cool for the gigging guitarist that doesn't need a huge rig. Huge tone and small package.

I spoke to Mike but Jason/Killertone beat me to the punch!

It ships with Ruby 6l6's but you can use any octal power tube combination that you like.

The amp is KILLER and Id be willing to be that it will be as gnarly as you think it's going to be and at a Price that is fantastic IMHO!!
