Attitude?
I asked you a question.
You implied that the reason i don't watch football, is because i don't understand football. Which is false.
I don't

Don't know the rules, not care to learn..

Didn't have it high school, as we were too small of a School...

Not to mention it, why is it called "Football", you use you foot like 5 times in t he entire "game".

Because the monkeys that invented it were too stupid to play soccer, and not man enough to play Rugby, and not original enough to come up with a new name

It should called "HandJob"

TDS like symptoms

I believe that you think that lol.
Me not giving a fuck about sports is the exact opposite of TDS.
Think about it.

I discuss politics sometimes, but i do not watch sportsball whatsoever.
I do see what you're saying though.
My ironclad rule is no discussion of politics in person, even though my dad loved it (let's talk politics!) But online, anything goes. Point being, I can check out of the conversation anytime.
I love Da Bears but a coworker played it to death with "my Cubs!" When he uttered it for the umpteenth time, a guy listening said "wow, I didn't know you were part owner!"

I love ignorant people who say ignorant things....I feel smarter by the minute reading your posts.
BUT something you admittedly can't figure out on your own: it's called "football" because it is derived from rugby football and the term "football" was historically used to describe sports played afoot rather than on horseback.

Hope this helps.

My take on politics isn't really about sports, but a key element of most athletics: Balance.

If you lean too far to one side, you risk becoming unstable. For the best stability, you must not only find the center, but lower yourself.

Politically speaking, when you lean too far to one side, you end up fighting for party lines and following propaganda through talking points. Those are the people who pick fights. Taking the time to hear both sides, and look at the facts to determine your own opinion keeps you centered. But, most importantly, to lower your center of gravity so to speak, is to never let your bias block out the facts. Lower yourself by challenging your own viewpoint and never assume the facts.

Seek the truth, and you will always be right. Lean to far to one side, and you fall over.

...and not man enough to play Rugby...
Gotta respect Rugby (Union, not the dumbed-down League version of it).

It's like a mini war on-the-field played with human chess pieces - diverse roles and therefore player sizes and abilities.

The rules are complex but that's 'cause it's a complex game.

It's a fantastic test of character, athleticism and intelligence.

Except the pussies wear pads...

Call me "Ignorant" about not knowing, or caring, about "Football", that's cool, I don't see the attraction to it .. if it is such a great game, why is the USA the only county that plays it?

For that matter, why are the only countries in "The World Series" USA and our 51 Welfare state, Canada?

I played Rugby with my cousin for a couple years a long time ago. He played for a really long time. Fucking brutal game.

Of course, when I was young, the way we played, soccer was pretty fucking brutal too.

MLB: I would assume the travel time involved for "world" games makes it prohibitive. It started here so I guess it stays here....but it would be great to have Japanese or other oriental countries travel for a series of games and I'm sure fans would love it, not sure why it hasn't happened.
And American football has filled stadiums in England and Germany so there are fans worldwide.

Love football. Mostly NFL and some College depending on who it is. Would love nothing more than someone different to be in the Superbowl this year. Like Denver or San Francisco.

Also Happy New Year to all you cluster fucks.
